National Park

Capitol Reef National Park protects a nearly 100-mile long warp in the Earth's crust known as the Waterpocket Fold. Located in south-central Utah, the park features colorful canyons, ridges, buttes, and monoliths, along with historic orchards and pioneer-era structures. Visitors can explore scenic drives, hike through slot canyons, and discover petroglyphs left by ancient Fremont culture. The park's unique geology and rich cultural history offer a quieter, less crowded experience compared to other Utah parks.
