Redwood National and State Parks protect nearly half of the world's tallest trees, the coast redwoods, along with prairies, oak woodlands, wild rivers, and nearly 40 miles of rugged coastline. Located in northern California along the Pacific Coast, the parks offer visitors a chance to experience ancient forests with towering trees over 350 feet tall, diverse ecosystems, and abundant wildlife. The parks include Redwood National Park and three California state parks: Del Norte Coast, Jedediah Smith, and Prairie Creek Redwoods. Visitors can hike among old-growth forests, explore scenic drives, and enjoy coastal views.
